Senate Bill 1

In the most recent legislative session, the West Virginia legislature passed several bills directly related to education. Senate Bill 1 provides for a tuition free education to obtain a certification or associate’s degree at one of the state’s public community and technical colleges.

In-State residents who meet specific criteria would be eligible for the grants to fund their education. The text of the bill can be found here: Senate Bill 1.
