Podcast editing services are available on a per-episode basis.
Contracted Term Agreements
Contracted Term Agreements are available to reduce costs to podcasters in exchange for a commitment to use the service for a specific period. Commitments range from 3 months to 1 year.
Contracted Term Agreements may be cancelled by the podcaster or Johns Creek Studios anytime within the last 10 business days of the agreement, or they will be automatically renewed at the current available rates.
All invoices for editing and term agreements must be paid within 15 business days to avoid late fees of 1.5% per day.
Per Minute Fees
Base fee:
$1.50 per minute of unedited audio
Editing Fee:
$1.00 per minute of removed audio
Example:
- 30 Minute uploaded WAV file
- +5 Minutes of Audio Removed in Editing
- $45.00 + $5.00 = $50.00 for the episode
Cost Calculations
- Unedited Audio is rounded to the nearest minute mark for cost calculation purposes.
- Ex. 15:45 = 16 Minutes
- 27:31 = 28 Minutes
- 12:12 = 12 Minutes
- Removed Audio is rounded to the nearest minutes mark for cost calculation purposes.
- Ex. 2:24 = 2 Minutes
- 8:39 = 9 Minutes
- 19:05 = 19 Minutes

- Background and Room Noise Reduction

- Audio enhancements (including equalization, normalization, compression, and leveling)

- Mixing intro, outro, and other audio branding

- ID3 Tagging
- $2.00 per episode (Included for all term contracted customers)
- Upload final audio to hosting platform
- $1.00 per episode (Included for all term contracted customers)
- Guaranteed 72-hour turnaround
- Included for all term contracted customers.
Turnaround Time Policy
72 hours is defined in the terms of this policy and any term contracted agreement as 3 business days, NOT including Wednesday, Saturday, or Sunday.
Content submitted after normal business hours (Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM EST) will be considered received at the open of business the following business day.
Faster turnaround times are available for term contracted customers for an additional fee per episode or a one-time fee to cover the term of the agreement.
